The Port Hedland Industries Council (PHIC) is an industry organisation formed in 2009 to provide a collaborative approach to cumulative industry issues in Port Hedland.
PHIC provides a single industry-wide point of contact and coordinates inter-industry responses to issues such as air quality and noise. The Council is the lead representative body on issues where two or more operators are involved.
Our members bring substantial expertise, a coordinated approach and work together sharing information, knowledge and innovations.
PHIC is committed to maintaining a strong and open relationship between industry and the Port Hedland community in which its members operate.
The Port Hedland Industries Council (PHIC) was established by key port users in 2009, as part of industry’s commitment to the community.
PHIC advances the investment in new technology and innovations and proactively shares information, experience and knowledge to ensure continuous improvement of dust management in Port Hedland.
As an industry group PHIC brings substantial expertise in terms of dust mitigation, health, and environmental knowledge. We want the community to tap into this and work together to positively enhance the community and improve responsiveness to community concerns.
